Biography

Subhashini Sivagnanam leads the Cyberinfrastructure Solutions and Services (CISS) group at SDSC. Her primary areas of research focus are in fields of distributed computing, cyberinfrastructure development, scientific data management, and reproducible science. As a PI, Co-PI, or Key Personnel, she has been involved in various NSF, NIH, and SDSC internal funded projects that involve developing CI research software, providing CI services to the research community, and carrying out HPC-related research.

Current Projects

  • NAIRR-OC - Providing U.S. researchers, educators and students with centralized access to advanced AI computing, data and training resources.
  • Cosmos Supercomputer - Cosmos democratizes access to accelerated computing for science and discovery.
  • Expanse Supercomputer - Expanse increases the capacity and performance for thousands of users of batch-oriented and science gateway computing, and provides new capabilities that enable research increasingly dependent upon heterogeneous and distributed resources composed into integrated and highly usable cyberinfrastructure.
  • Expanse2 Supercomputer - Expanse2 will continue to serve the long tail of science and advance AI innovation nationwide.
